The Osprey Shipping Office is located along the main road of Tuticorin Smart City, designed to accommodate a dynamic workforce of up to 35 staff members. The interior concept draws inspiration from the company’s identity — with orange, the signature colour of Osprey Groups, used as a vibrant highlighter throughout the workspace. This is balanced with a clean palette of grey and white, creating a bright, energetic, yet professional environment.
The workspace features a baffle ceiling system, improving acoustics while giving the office a modern industrial character. Custom black metal-frame workstations add to the clean and organised visual language while maintaining durability and flexibility.
Since the client wanted curves to be integrated into the design, we incorporated curved partitions, including a gently curved glass partition for the GM’s cabin, adding softness to the otherwise linear layout.
Lighting is enhanced with magnetic track lights, offering versatility and an uncluttered ceiling design. A key highlight is the feature wall behind one of the worktables, inspired by the textures and patterns of shipping containers. This wall features a world map, symbolising Osprey’s global reach. Complementing this, a motivational quote is placed on a side wall against a container-texture background (resembling a galvalume sheet), tying the entire theme together.
The design successfully merges brand identity, functionality, and contemporary aesthetics — creating a workspace that is immersive, efficient, and aligned with the shipping industry’s global and dynamic nature.
